I'm wondering ..................

Been thinking alot about wishes and my hearts desires as of late.

I posed this question on another venue but I would like to pose it to you here.....if wishes were horses then beggars would ride.....is part of an old saying but, if you could have your hearts desire for yourself, not philanthropically, not neighborly, not in your sphere of influence but just for you, what would it be?

For me, I want to be healthy enough to be here when my grandkids get grown. At the rate I am going now, that ain't gonna happen unless I change my choices in food, activity and mind set. So I wish for stick-to-it-ness in caring for myself.

  1. For me it would be health, too; just to be able to do the things I used to do. I've been the nicotine demon, now it is time to work on the weight...and more activity in my life.

  2. I like that wish Linda, mine is similar, I wish to be healthy enough to enjoy my Grands and want to be around long enough to meet my great-grands.

  4. So do start taking a better care of yourself, Linda! Then you'll be here to see them grown-up! I'd ask the same for myself. Health to see my little witch becoming a good man, and to hold my grandchildren that I hope he'll give me.

  6. Well, for me at this time in my immediate life, I would like lots of money to pay a lawyer, a kind judge that understands just because your name is on a piece of paper doesn't mean you're responsible and if you could find "me" on aisle 6 in your grocery store, please add me to your basket.

  7. I want to be who God wants me to be. If only we follow the guidance we ask for. Great sayings I heard my whole life. We are blessed for the time that we do have. Cherish that time and may God bless you with many years.

  8. Well, Linda...have you eaten properly today? or have you enjoyed yourself?...Decisions, Decisions...Need to find a way to do both so that you can enjoy your life and still be around to teach the Grands about long life and old age...keep lots of pics of yourself to show that you were young once also...

  9. My wish is always for love. I'm the last of a dying breed: someone who still believes in the sanctity of marriage and in soulmates. I'm pushing 40 and haven't so much as met Mr. Okay, You'll Do, let alone Mr. Right. I've always wished for a true soul*mate to share this life with. More than money, more than a beautiful home, more than success with my art and writing... I wish for love.
