Day 17

17. A book that you've read that changed your view of something.

The Celestine Prophesy and the Tenth Insight. I re read them both once a year. It is interesting how my view of what I am reading has changed each time I pick up my old worn out copies.

I won't do a book review, or expound the virtues or shortcomings of the books and I hate to use the term mind altering (afterall I am a child of the flower power generation) but the information in the books changed how I view everything, everyone and all things seen and unseen.

  1. Geez, I read that book many moons ago and maybe should take off the stacks and re-read it. I recall it really changed a friend's life, but then her favorite song was about getting drunk and losing it on the floor...she thought it was about starting your life over...sigh! So I'll do that, re-read the Celestine Proph. and the 10 Insight...have 'um both!!

  4. I'm ashamed to say I've not done much reading and when I do, I chose the romance novels because I don't read long anyway - my eyes get drowsy (and my glasses are still good!) must be a mental thing, yet I can read stuff on the computer all day long if I had to.
