a question and answer forum.....for the time being. All things change and become something else if there is growth even Olde Baggs.

The conjuring room is next.............

When we first started our collaboration on this sweet little junk store find, I suggested that we should have an altar represented somewhere in the 4 rooms. Aurealia (Ms. Baggs) was adamant that we should have an entire room devoted to that activity which brings magic into a witch's home. How could I refuse. Once again without the artwork of other artists, this venture would not be what it is, so to Knickertwist, Cee and The Angry Gnome's Mom, thanks my fellow tiny things crafting lovers and doers.

As you can see, the room has a certain ambiance to it with the brick floors, the Halloween wallpaper and spider web rug. There just wasn't enough room to house the essential cabinet for keepsakes, charts, utensils and such without blocking the window, so thus the placement. It has worked out nicely because the neighbors have no idea what goes on inside this little bungalow. Which is really a good thing. You just don't know how hard it is once the neighbors know that they have a witch right next door, kinda makes them a little jumpy. Just imagine how my neighbors must feel what with me the witchlings), Ms. Baggs and the lovely Wiccan lady next door to me. But I digress.

Caught bits of a conversation between Apriliano and Ms. Baggs when I was taking pictures. She was busy making a potion to add to her delightful mints and candies that she hands out for Halloween. He said they were fine as is but she was fussing about not have the desired result she was going for. Something about more dancing and singing should be occurring. Hmmm, I wonder if she is using the trick or treaters as guinea pigs? Oh, surely not.

Once again, so much to see. Hope you take a few moments to look around and see all the fun touches and that I added lights to the hutch so that it would be easier to gather components for the spellweaving and bring items to the table. Also wired the hanging lamp. New skill for me and I'm happy I got to play.

Only the front room to show you and then we'll have a view of the entire house and have us a story about Aurealia and her life and adventures for Ms. Maglay's Witch's in Fiction Crafting Blooming Howls, on October 17.

  1. This is the perfect work space for any serious practicing witch. You've done a wonderful job making each room interesting and fun and this room is even better than I imagined it would be.
When I was into building miniture houses I always wanted to do one with working lights but never got around to it. It does add a little something when you do and the fact that the hutch has lights does make seeing everything inside so much nicer when one is gathering components and with the hanging light over the work area reading from spell books shouldn't be a strain on the eyes.
This house is absolutely fantastic and way too much fun. Can't wait to see the last room. I'm sure it's going to be worth waiting for. S&S

    1. I have always loved working with the very intricate....however, if it weren't for the aforementioned artists who gifted me with their artwork, made item available to buy and complete, and shared their passion for the teeny, tiny, I would never have been able to finish in the short time I did. Whew, am I glad for friends. Love ya Florida Linda
