Day 16

16. Something or someone you could definately live without.

This one is easy. I could definately live without the ugliness, we as Americans are subjected to ever single time someone runs for office.

I am so very tired of the bad mouthing, no class attitudes that candidates develop (or maybe they were that way all along) and how low they are willing to stoop to what......? Have us respect them after they have bad mouthed each other and won? I could live without politics, candidates and elections.

Definately...but then who would take all our money and be set for life while we still rub our pennies together and hope that our fortunes improve (as if) multiply. It's all so very sickening.

  1. Well said Linda, I heartily agree. The elections we can't and shouldn't live without, but the way these people go about their campaigns! They should be ashamed of themselves - but they're not and that's the problem. It's business as usual for them. It seems the nastier the better they like it.

  2. Another one I agree with. This latest race in New York was a joke. The Republican candidate was badmouthing gays, sending porn jokes over the emails, threatening newspaper reporters. I don't know where they dug him up.

  4. It's true, but when I reread your second paragraph, I can't help thinking that we all tend to do that in our own lives, bad mouthing, running someone down, putting blame on someone else. Politicians are really just us on a bigger scale and with more at stake. You always manage to give me some new way of seeing things. Very insightful. I will have to be sure I'm not doing that in order to make myself feel justified in my life. I do not want to be the pot calling the kettle black. Oh my gosh, wonderful Pagan pun (didn't even intend it). hee hee. I like your series. It's a great idea. Makes me really think.
