This bodes well for September...........

I usually take the pups outside first thing in the morning and now that the boy has to be at school earlier, I am out with the coming of the sun. So beautiful and fresh this time of year, even if it doesn't last all that long until the heat is upon us once again.
This is what greeted me this morning.....a double rainbow (sorry for the wires).  Just moments after I snapped this shot, it was gone. And then Big Mama turtle conferred with me about the beauty of the morning.
Happy first of September and rainbows, especially for those of you who are in the midst of that horrible drought.

  1. Thanks for the September wishes, it has an autumnal feel to it here. As for getting up with the sun: I'm lucky there rarely is much sun round here!

  2. Beautiful rainbow & happy September to you also! I love your mama turtle!! I haven't seen mama here for a few days, but the babies have been hanging out on the patio almost every day. I think I may have a new one too now. We have a tropical system in the Gulf - nothing serious just a big rain event & frankly I'm hoping that it heads over to Texas where they need it!

I was thinking about you today for some reason. I have no idea why - but hope that you are well.

  5. I'm up every morning before sun rise but never get to see one as beautiful as this. Mamma turtle is lovely. I would love to have turtles in my yard. I doubt they'd do well here. Have a wonderful and safe weekend. Hugs
